The government of Dina Boluarte Today, the Multisectoral Commission of a temporary nature was installed to follow up on the actions and measures aimed at caring for the relatives of the deceased, as well as for the people who suffered serious injuries in the mobilizations that occurred between December 8 and 21, 2022. .
The Minister of Justice, José Tello, who chairs the working group, gave a speech in which he emphasized that the main objective will be to provide this support to the victims and relatives of the 28 deceased during the wave of violence in different regions of the country.
“We seek to have, as a State, the flag of solidarity. We are going to help people who have suffered the loss of their loved ones in multiple aspects”, said Tello.
The multisectoral commission will also be made up of a representative of the PCM and the ministries of Health, Education, Culture, Development and Social Inclusion, Women and Vulnerable Populations, Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Comprehensive Health Insurance and the National Human Rights Coordinator. .
In addition, it will have the participation of two representatives of the families of the deceased and of the people who suffered serious injuries, accredited to exercise representation.
According to Supreme Resolution No. 264-2022-JUS, under which this working group is created, its function is to monitor the actions and measures related to physical and mental health care, accompaniment and social support. for the bereaved.
The operation of the Multisectoral Commission is financed from the institutional budget of the entities involved, without requiring additional resources from the Public Treasury.
The multi-sector commission is valid for 90 calendar days, counted from its installation, and can be extended for another 30 days. Upon expiration of said term, the Commission presents the final report to the head of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
