Government held first meeting with Comptroller after announcement of special investigation

The Government of President Gabriel Boric held this Wednesday the first meeting with the Comptroller General of the Republic.

This, after the supervisory body announced a special investigation into the opposition’s complaints of alleged interventionism in the face of the exit plebiscite on September 4.

It should be noted that during this week, the body announced the investigation after receiving the complaint from four deputies of the Republican Party who pointed to a lack of disregard by the Executive before the constituent process.

The meeting took place in the offices of Moneda Bicentenario, in front of the Palacio de La Moneda, where half of the General Secretariat of the Government (Segegob) works, a ministry led by the government spokesperson, Camila Vallejo.
