Political leader Katleen Levy has not yet decided whether to run for the presidency of the republic through free candidacy; meanwhile she assured that in the face of the social, economic and political outbreak that the country is going through, the government of President Laurentino Cortizo has not made a true mea culpa.
He affirmed that for 36 months corruption worsened at all levels, the payroll and bottles increased in the Executive and the National Assembly, which tripled its officials, and on this there has been neither repentance from the Government nor correction of course.
“In opposition they criticized controlling food prices, but now in the Government they are more radical, going up to 72 products without taking the opinion of businessmen or producers, who are the ones who must guarantee that there are frozen products in the market. “That is supremely irresponsible,” he added.
“It must be recognized that this snowball has not grown now, it is the sum of discontent towards the political class in which I include myself for not having been able to do more than what I did when I held public office,” he declared.
For Levy, the government is not listening to the fact that the underlying problem is corruption.
“Indebting the country with poorly focused payroll and subsidies is bankrupting finances,” he said.
The policy indicated that it must be recognized that gasoline fell and the Government had to sit down in a dialogue due to social pressure and the demonstrations, but stressed that the prolonged street closures are turning the movement into an unpopular issue.
“I see a lonely President and he will be more so as 2024 approaches,” he warned.
Regarding her possible registration for the free nomination as a presidential candidate, she stated that You have until July 31 to decide.
