The National Government decided to extend for another year the intervention on the health provider entity (EPS) Famisanar. The measure, which will remain in force until September 15, 2026, responds to continuous deterioration in some of the EPS operation indicators.
As reported by the Superintendence of Health, these deficiencies persist in its financial, technical-scientific and legal components, which in turn has impacted the operational viability of the entity and in the fulfillment of its function as insurer within the General System of Social Security in Health.
