The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) reported that up to now S/1’173,349.35 has been returned to cargo and people carriers, for the refund of 40% of the payment of tolls nationwide.
In this way, the economic reactivation of the country and the reduction of logistics costs are promoted for the benefit of the population. It should be noted that the benefited carriers met the requirements through the virtual or face-to-face parts table of the ministry.
In addition, it is important to remember that carriers can present the payment receipts for the month of November until January 10, 2023.
In the case of December payments, the submission deadlines are from January 11, 2023 to February 10 of the same year.
What are the requirements to request a refund?
- To access the subsidy, you must have the electronic box of the MTC
- You must have access to the list of MTC drivers
- Have qualifying titles in force as of August 13, 2022
- Be registered with active status and in a condition of existence in the Single Taxpayer Registry (RUC)
It is important to mention to carriers that all information and documentation submitted in the grant application will be formally endorsed by means of an affidavit.
Likewise, the economic resources granted in response to the subsidy are intangible for a period of one month.
