G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, commander of Ceofan, denounced alleged violations of national airspace by US aircraft
The operational strategic commander of the National Armed Forces (Ceofan), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, denounced in his social networks that no fewer than four illegal air raids have been recorded in the last 30 days, apparently by United States (US) spy planes.
Hernandez Lárez detailed on Sunday, February 5, that these actions would be violating established international conventions.
In his opinion, the US would be being cynical when complaining on one side about the incursion of Chinese balloons into its airspace while it was carrying out unauthorized operations in Venezuelan airspace.
On no less than 4 occasions in the last 30 days, the Flight Information Region (Maiquetía FIR) has been violated by US spy planes, disregarding international conventions. Cynicism is really little! https://t.co/RTTJ08YxWq

This reaction by Hernández Lárez to an alleged violation of Venezuelan airspace occurs after the statement issued by the Chancelleryin which the “attack” made by the United States against a Chinese balloon for entering its airspace due to a “fault” presented in that equipment is repudiated.
In the opinion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this Chinese equipment was civilian in nature and did not represent a military or anti-individual threat.

A similar balloon was reported by the Colombian Military Forces, as reported in a statement on the night of Saturday, February 4. The Asian team was detected north of the neighboring country flying at an altitude of 16,764 meters with a speed of 25 knots.
According to the statement, the air force monitored the object “until it left Colombian airspace,” noting that they determined that this “item did not represent a threat to national security and defense, as well as air safety.”

Just on Friday, February 3, the Chinese government acknowledged that the first flying device, sighted in the US, was its property, but indicated that it was for civilian use for climate research. Supposedly he had diverted from his route due to bad weather, although he also did not specify what his initial destination was.
A day later, President Joe Biden gave the order to shoot down the balloon, described by his country’s military forces as an object of spying.
