Government delivers RD$34 million to athletes who won medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Santo Domingo, DR.- Through the Ministry of Sports and Recreation (Miderec), the Dominican Government delivered this Thursday 34 million pesos as an incentive to athletes, coaches and their respective federations, medal winners in the recently completed Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The event was led at the headquarters of Miderec by the Minister of Sports, Francisco Camacho, who presented a check for 15 million pesos to Marileidy Paulino, winner of the 400 metres gold medal in Paris.

In addition, he gave 8 million pesos to Yunior Alcantara and another 8 million to Cristina Pinales, boxers who won bronze medals at the Olympics.
