The Ministry of the Presidency (Minpre) and the Public Trust for the Construction of Low-Cost Housing Dominican Republic (VBC DR Trust), ad the announcement of manifestation of interest to tender telecommunications services in the housing project Juan Bosch City.
Those interested in participating may pick up the specifications physically at the VBC RD Trust Management Unit offices, located at Abraham Lincoln Avenue, corner 27 de Febrero, local 45, 2nd level of Unicentro Plaza, or through the portals www.minpre.gob.do and www.fiduciariareservas.com. The document is a call to companies with experience in the provision of telecommunications services and/or enabling of external plant telecommunications infrastructures, to participate in the public bidding process, which seeks to facilitate access to fixed, mobile, connectivity services, internet, cable television and the required infrastructures.
In the presentation of proposals it is necessary to demonstrate that the companies are duly qualified and have the experience to develop the project, in accordance with the General Telecommunications Law (Law No. 153-98), as well as the current regulations and standards issued by the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel).
Through the Public Trust for the Construction of Low-Cost Housing in the Dominican Republic (VBC RD Trust), a large public-private partnership scheme has materialized in the city of Juan Bosch, in which the State contributed land and promised to provide public infrastructure services, social and institutional facilities and public spaces. For their part, private sector developers are responsible for building homes and commercial areas and promoting their sale.
