Workers with old payable credit operations can start portability without leaving home through the mobile phone. This Thursday (21), the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) will transfer about 4 million old contracts to the Worker Credit Platformwhich provides CREDIT WITH LOWER INTEREST to workers with a formal contract.
The migration to the Digital Work Card app, which hosts the worker’s credit, runs until November. Old contracts belong to employees who work or work in companies that had partnerships with banks to offer discount loans of salary installments. This model will be extinguished in November.
In the old model, private companies had to make agreements with a particular bank to enable the payroll discount. The CLT worker had the option of taking the payroll loans only from the institution with which the employer signed the agreement and shared the functional data.
With the Worker Credit Program, more than 70 banks and financial institutions may have access to the profile of workers with a formal contract through eSocial, Compulsory electronic system that unifies labor, social security and tax information from employers and employees across the country. According to the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban), the Volume of private payroll loans may exceed R $ 120 billion this year.
Since June, the worker can do the portability Old private payroll operations, choosing the financial institution that offers the best conditions (such as low interest rates and reduced installments). The process, however, could only be done through the bank application or bank branches.
The migration of old operations to the Worker Credit Platform, available in the Digital Work Card app or Page of the same name on the internetwill be done by Dataprev, state hired by the Ministry of Labor and Employment to elaborate the platform.
Expansion
This is the fourth stage of expansion of the portability of the new pay line for CLT workers. In April, the worker could exchange expensive debts for the cheapest within the same bank. In May, it began to be valid for Migration of the payroll to CLT between different banks.
Since June, the worker who has hired the new type of private consignment can change financial institutions, choosing to offer lower interest rates. At this stage, any debt of any bank can be migrated, including the credit lines of the hired worker since March. However, the procedure could only be done in applications and sites of more than 70 financial institutions qualified in the program.
Also called CLT payroll, the new modality lent, until the end of last week, R $ 27.8 billion to 3,919,679 workers. 5,643,384 contracts were signed, with average interest of 3.58% per month. About 60% of operations serve workers who earn up to four minimum wages.
How it works
In the digital work card app, the worker authorizes sharing his data (such as CPF, company time and available margin).

- Up to 35% of monthly income can be committed to the loan.
How to order portability
- Verify that the destination bank offers the new payroll to CLT;
- Ask for portability on the institution’s digital channels (website or application);
- From August 21, portability can also be requested in the work card app, with gradual migration until November;
- The new institution sets the previous debt and assumes the credit automatically, with the interest and deadlines of the new line.
