At the end of 2022, there has been a surprising political result, Dr. Leonel Fernández, president of Fuerza del Pueblo, having to look up because President Luis Abinader was a few points higher in the polls, at the beginning of the year 2023 changed everything and Leonel was placed several points above Abinader.
Look up also because Fuerza del Pueblo and its president Leonel Fernández are the first opposition force. But that still seems to change in the face of so much clumsiness and inability of the State from the government, everything it does is to oppose itself; which forces the FP and Leonel to preserve a democratic solution. This reality places Leonel in an enviable position, beginning a pre-election year, which the Government knowingly, because it conducts surveys, put 26 billion pesos into circulation in December, according to his words, to try to avoid it.
Leonel’s enviable position provokes envy, and sending it means wanting what the other has. That explains the behavior of those who are down in the polls. Hipólito went to see Danilo and they took photos together to publish them, it may have been jokes and nonsense that was discussed; That political language is typical of someone who is desperate with envy.
Then another image of Hippolytus appeared next to Themistocles, the latter ridiculously imitating him with a corduroy hat; like someone who wore that hat and waits in the hallway to be photographed resembling that one.
It must be remembered that Temístocles is so erratic that by 2016 he said that Danilo won as he wanted, without Leonel; I replied with numbers that it had not been like that, and he could not answer. Now he wants to attribute to Leonel the defeat that the people inflicted on the PLD by the small group of the leadership, led by Danilo, fraud Leonel in the 2019 primary elections, forcing him to resign; and a PLD without Leonel led Danilo and his presidential candidate to defeat.
This now from the “juntadera” of Hipólito with Danilo and Temístocles, perhaps the one who could lose sleep is Abinader; It is well known that Hipólito has his share of power within the PRM and the government, and President Abinader knows that “they are watching over him to eat the candy”, an economic group that seems to “filter” from within the same Government and the PRM to a “popies”, striving to position it with surveys.
The purpose is to take away total power from the PRM from within the party and the government. As can be seen, Abinader is politically trapped and in bad company. Any Dominican, in a gesture and expression very typical of him, could tell him, pointing at him with the index finger that he moves up and down: “I told you, not to hang out with those people.”
Abinader “will be left without a whistle and without a flute”, the PRM bases, neglected and inattentive, run towards the Fuerza del Pueblo and those who have a job become silent followers of Leonel. A similar thing occurs in the PLD where only those who are waiting for the electoral closeness remain.
Definitely, the country has a government that becomes opposition, so Fuerza del Pueblo and Dr. Leonel Fernández are compelled to protect the people and a democratic solution for the 2024 elections.
