The Executive power made official through resolutions published this Friday the authorizations for various authorities to travel to Bolivia on Saturday, October 30 to participate in the Binational Cabinet, among which was included the president of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of the Intellectual property (Indecopi), Julián Palacín.
Ministerial resolution 253-2021-PCM signed by the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, indicates that the trip of the head of Indecopi, a member of the Peru Libre party and former candidate for Congress by this political group, is authorized.
“Said event (the Binational Cabinet) will be conducive to the signing of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement between Indecopi, the Ministry of Product Development and Plural Economy and the National Intellectual Property Service of Bolivia”, justifies the text of the resolution.
Palacín Gutiérrez must present to Indecopi within 15 calendar days a report with the actions carried out, the results obtained and the rendering of accounts of the assigned per diem (US $ 370).
Julián Palacín, a member of Perú Libre, was appointed as Indecopi’s executive president since September 14, 2021, replacing Hania Pérez de Cuéllar.
