Deputy “Bachi” Núñez (ANR) will present a draft declaration to urge President Mario Abdo Benítez to remove Petropar’s head, Denis Lichi, from office after the recent fuel scandals.
The Colorado deputy Basilio “Bachi” Núñez announced through his Twitter account that he will present a draft declaration that urges the President of the Republic, Mario Abdo Benítez, to remove Denis Lichi.
According to the politician for Honor Colorado, this measure against Lichi is given “for prioritizing his political campaign and selling fuel at preferential prices to Bolivia.”
In a conversation with channel GEN, Nación Media, the legislator indicated that Lichi is subject to questioning and even a complaint for alleged damage to property. “The bill released is a reality,” he said.
He harshly questioned the absolute silence of the opposition and also the detachment of President Mario Abdo from the current reality, since, as he himself referred to on one occasion, “he already has his Milanese guaranteed for life.”
This Monday it was announced through La Nación that between September 4 and September 18, 2022, the reduction in prices per cubic meter of diesel sent by Petropar, under the administration of Denis Lichi, to Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales is observed. (YPF) of Bolivia, continuously. From an initial sale price of US$1,473.36 per cubic meter, the Government of Mario Abdo lowered it to US$1,389.65, according to the invoices issued.
To this scandal we must add the repeated questions about the government’s handling of the state oil company. In this sense, Lichi is currently engaged in his political campaign, neglecting the interests of the institution and the citizens themselves.
Next Wednesday I will present a #ProjectDeclaration that urges @MaritoAbdo to dismiss the President of @Petropargov for prioritizing his political campaign and the sale of fuel to Bolivia at preferential prices while the truckers and citizens demand a reduction in it
