The Executive approved yesterday, Thursday, April 28, the granting of an extraordinary subsidy for the beneficiaries of the social programs Together, Pension 65 and With You, with S/ 200, S/ 250 and S/ 300 respectively, corresponding to the month of April of this year .
This was established through Emergency Decree No. 007-2022, published in the extraordinary edition of the official newspaper El Peruano.
The purpose of the rule is to establish economic and financial measures, of an exceptional and transitory nature, necessary to protect the population in a situation of poverty and extreme poverty, in order to cushion the effects of price increases in the basic food basket.
“Authorize, exceptionally and only once, the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) to grant an extraordinary additional subsidy of 200 soles, 250 soles and 300 soles in favor of poor and/or extremely poor people, users of the National Program for Direct Support to the Poorest (Juntos), the National Program for Solidarity Assistance (Pensión 65) and the National Program for the Delivery of Non-Contributory Pensions to Persons with Severe Disabilities in a Situation of Poverty (Contigo), respectively, which receive the corresponding subsidies from the aforementioned Programs as of April 2022″details the standard.
For this, the transfer was authorized in the Public Sector budget for Fiscal Year 2022, up to the sum of S/ 305’188,888, in favor of the beneficiaries of the aforementioned programs due to the effects of the price increase in the basic basket. food.
This Emergency Decree is valid until July 31, 2022.
It is worth mentioning that the owner of the specifications under the scope of this Emergency Decree is responsible for its proper implementation, as well as the use and destination of the resources included in the application of this Emergency Decree, in accordance with current regulations.
In addition, the resources that are transferred within the framework of this Emergency Decree cannot be used, under responsibility, for purposes other than those for which they are transferred.
