He Executive power made official this Wednesday the appointment of Luis Enrique Jiménez Borra as the new Vice Minister of Hydrocarbons of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, through Supreme Resolution No. 020-2025-EM published in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The appointment was endorsed by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Luis Enrique Bravo de la Cruz, and signed by the President of the Republic, José Jerí.
The standard states that Law No. 30705, which regulates the organization and functions of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, establishes that the basic structure of this portfolio is made up of three vice-ministries: Electricity, Hydrocarbons and Mines.
Who is Luis Enrique Jiménez?
He is a lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In addition, he has a doctorate in Public Policy, a master’s degree in Public Policy Management and Analysis, as well as a master’s degree in International Relations and Trade.
He has held administrative positions in the Municipality of San Isidro, as municipal manager.
