Government announces payment of PASE-U and contest scholarships from March 2

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, announced through his social networks that this Thursday, March 2, the payment of the Universal Educational Social Assistance Program, known as PASE-U, will be made, which will benefit more than half a million students from primary, middle and high school throughout the country.

«As of March 2 of this year, 577,140 elementary, middle and high school students from all over the country will receive the 1st. disbursement of the Universal Educational Social Assistance Program (PASE-U), a total amount of B/.60.9 million, during the beginning of the new school year,” President Cortizo posted on the social network Twitter.

I also inform that the contest scholarships for outstanding students will receive the same payment on March 2 and that it will benefit more than 80,000 students.

“In addition, 82,084 outstanding students will receive payment of the current scholarships for contest, distinguished position, art, culture and sports, a total amount of B/.17 million to strengthen the education of our boys”, informed President Cortizo.

The school year begins in our country next Monday, March 6, and these disbursements will help students and parents to better prepare for the new school year.
