«I have held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Dominican Republic, Roberto Álvarez, to whom I have expressed the solidarity of the Venezuelan people and government after the tragedy that occurred on April 8 in Santo Domingo, with a balance of more than 220 victims, including 14 Venezuelans. I have transmitted the instructions that I received from President Nicolás Maduro Moros to pay all the attention to our compatriots and relatives of the victims, for which we have deployed a technical and consular team that has already made the relevant contacts. The Bolivarian Government will carry out all the necessary coordination for the attention to each need and we have agreed with the Dominican government to maintain communication in order to fulfill this task, ”said the chancellor in his social networks.
