During the fourteenth day of social action carried out by the Social Protection Network of the Dominican Government, Peña revealed that during September and October the delivery of the family bonus will be made through non-transferable checks, but that for the months of October and November they will change that modality to a safer and more practical one for the beneficiaries.
“Starting in October we are going to deliver an amount two or three times higher, but now with striped cards to deliver much more here in this community,” said Peña.
Peña also indicated that he hopes that by the end of this year the cards of all the beneficiaries of the social subsidies granted by the Government can be changed to provide the system with greater robustness, a goal on which they have been working for several months.
Fourteenth day of social action
Likewise, the coordinator of the Social Policy Cabinet reiterated that the Social Protection Network has visited the municipality of Santo Domingo on at least five different occasions and in different locations.

Added to the contribution of the Cabinet is the Social Plan of the Presidency that delivered six thousand raw food rations for the residents of Brisas del Este, as well as the State Economic Kitchens that mobilized at least three units to provide cooked food to the residents of the zone.
Meanwhile, the National Price Stabilization Institute (INESPRE) installed 6 low-cost food distribution points.
