The Government and the Riceros signed an act with seven commitments.
The Ministries of Agriculture, Commerce and Interior, the Government and the National Committee of Rice Arroo They signed an agreement with which the national strike initiated on July 14 is terminated.
The document includes seven commitments, which include the regulation of the price of Paddy Verde rice, Commercial defense measures and concrete actions to guarantee the stability of producers in the short and medium term.
With the signing of the minutes, the National Rice Stop Committee declared the strike ended and announced the suspension of all blockages and demonstrations associated with mobilization.

Regulation of the price of the green paddy rice
The central point of the agreement is the filing, before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (sic), of a resolution that submits The price of the green paddy rice to the regular freedom regime. The formula proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture was accepted by the parties, with the commitment that the established prices cover the production costs without generating utility.
Once the SIC issues its concept, the agriculture portfolio will officially issue the resolution, as agreed.

Complementary measures
In addition to the price component, the agreement establishes:
• Evaluation of possible commercial defense measures against rice imports.
• Creation of a Technical Commission to serve producers affected by price drop since June.
• Review of the water use rate (TUA) at a technical table with the Ministry of Environment.
• Table led by the Treasury to review the criteria of the UGPP on cost presumption.
• DIAN controls and the fiscal and customs police in mills and collection centers.
The agreement stipulates the lifting of the blockages throughout the country, although spaces for socialization in the regions will be maintained.
Both the Government and the National Rice strike committee left records: the producers reserve the right to mobilize in case of breaches, and the Executive reaffirms their willingness to dialogue.
