He Government and the Dominican Medical College (CMD) Yesterday they reached an agreement on a salary increase of 25% in stages that begins this January with the application of 10%.
The next 10% will be applied in July 2025 on the increase applied in the month of January 2025, and 5% in January 2026.
The increase covers doctors from the National Health Service (SNS), Ministry of Public health, Hospitals of Self-management911 and the National People’s Council Aging (CONAPE)Auditors Doctorswho are performing healthcare functions regardless of the number of appointments as healthcare physicians they hold.

The agreement was signed this Saturday by the vice president of the Republic and chairwoman of the Cabinet of Health, Raquel Penaand by the president of the CMD, Waldo Ariel Sueroin a meeting that included the participation of the titular members of the aforementioned cabinet and the other members of the board of directors of the doctors’ guild.
In January, Dominican doctors will receive a 25% increase in their salaries as part of the agreements agreed between the Government and the Dominican Medical College (CMD).
This pact is the result of the permanent dialogue promoted by the current administration of the State to listen to the demands of this sector to act in favor of raising the quality of the service of health that each citizen receives and guarantee increasingly dignified working conditions.
