The agreement, which was signed by the Minister of the Interior, Juan Fernando Cristo; the Vice Minister of the Environment, Tatiana Roa, and the Vice Minister of Agriculture, Polivio Rosales; together with spokespersons and farmers of the ‘United for Santurbán Association’, collects the list of requests presented by the peasant communities of Norte de Santander.
Among the most important agreements is the commitment to comply with Sentence T-361 of 2017, which establishes that, for the delimitation of the Santubán moor, the inputs and the proposal prepared by the farmers and Corponor must be taken into account. . This proposal, under a farm-by-farm model, is called: “Santurbán, with people protected to conserve.”
