Gordon Ramsay has not only known master the stove: has turned his character and talent into a global brand. With more than 60 restaurants in different countries, multiple Michelin stars and a television career that has taken him from Hell’s Kitchen to being a figure in global gastronomic entertainment, the British chef continues to demonstrate that he knows how to diversify without losing his essence.
His most recent project, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnabywill open soon in the Downtown Disney District of the Disneyland Resortin Anaheim, California, and promises to become one of the culinary spaces most anticipated of the complex. It is a British inspired gastropub in London in the 60s, a vibrant era that marked the birth of modern pop culture and the musical revolution led by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who.
The restaurant will be located on the new Earl of Sandwichcombining contemporary British cuisine, live music and retro design with nods to the famous Carnaby Street, the heart of London fashion and nightlife at that time. It will have two outdoor terracesa bar and private booths for more intimate dinners.

On the culinary side, Ramsay will pay tribute to the dishes that defined his career: the iconic beef wellingtonthe fish and perfectly crunchy chips and the classic sticky toffee puddingreinterpreted with modern techniques. The menu will be complemented by a curated selection of wines, craft beers and signature cocktails, inspired by the most emblematic pubs in the United Kingdom.
“We want bring the vibes of London from the 60s, when everything was color, music and fun. The Carnaby will be that place where good food, spectacular design and great atmosphere converge,” commented the British chef when presenting the concept.
Disney Downtown
With this opening, Ramsay joins the list of renowned chefs who have chosen Downtown Disney to expand their presence in the United States, including Carlos Gaytan with Paseo, Céntrico and Tiendita, and Joe Isidori with the upcoming Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ.
