Google’s tribute in its search engine to Ana Mercedes Hoyos, Colombian artist

Ana Mercedes Hoyos, a Colombian painter born in Bogotá, on September 29, 1942, introduced modern art to the country. Google honors her.

Ana Mercedes Hoyos is the honoree in the Google search engine doodle, which shows one of the paintings of the Colombian artist who died in 2014.

The painter and sculptor won more than 17 awards, and captured the country in her works.

For the 80th anniversary of her birth, the Internet giant decided to highlight her. Hoyos was the pioneer of modern art in Colombia.
