The company Google, with its headquarters in Mountain view, California, signed a multinational contract with the company QSI Global Ventures, founded by the Dominican-American Celso Alvarado Jr., (based in Orlando, Florida, and in Madrid, Spain) to train your entire security plan in the ISO 18788 standard and in various security techniques and methodologies.
The project will be directed by General (r) Ramón Alcides Rodríguez, of the Dominican National Police, who also directed the DNCD academy, among other positions.
Among the QSI professors is also Edward Maggio who is a renowned author on operational security.
“I want to thank all the security institutions of the Dominican state, who have placed their trust in me and in my company for more than 20 years, since this experience, combined with our experience in several continents where Google has a presence, it was fundamental for his decision to select us”, expressed Alvarado.
Rodríguez, for his part, stated that, “Taking into account that Google is the most visited website in the world, I consider this opportunity as a challenge and we are going to do our best so that the world continues to recognize how versatile we are. Dominicans, not only in culture and sports, but also in the business world.”
Google, which also has more than 150 locations worldwide, has decided that the training will be complemented with QSI audit services, especially ISO 18788, among other security-related standards.
