The president of IPAE Acción Empresarial, Gonzalo Galdos, spoke at the closing of CADE Executives 2024 about the absence of the Executive at the most important business event of the year.
Look: President will not attend CADE Executives
“Last year we had 12 ministers, what better example of openness and dialogue than that, so I want to interpret very positively that they have had responsibility and obligations that excuse them,” he said at the closing of CADE 2024.
As is known, President Dina Boluarte and the Minister of Economy and Finance, José Arista, were invited to the last day of the event, however, neither of them showed up. The president did not attend due to an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers, while the head of the MEF did not do so because he had to follow up on the approval of the 2025 budget.
For Galdos, this is an “incentive” to continue working and keep the doors open for dialogue and the reconstruction of the country’s future.
On the other hand, he pointed out that the country is going through a crucial moment to build a “more just and positive” future. Likewise, he stated that “we cannot wait for others to act first or on our behalf. The opportunities are equal or greater,” he added.
“We are not part of the problem, starting today we are part of the solution, that is the call we make, to act with courage, with conviction,” said the representative of IPAE Acción Empresarial.
