The deputy of the Socialist Party, Ana María Bravo, denounced the parliamentarian Gonzalo de la Carrera before the Ethics Commission of the Chamber after accusing verbal insults and physical aggression after the vote on a bill.
As described by Bravo, the former Republican Party member displayed “explosive” behavior after discussing the Chao Dicom Law. This is why he emphasized that “it is not tolerable for someone to attack other parliamentarians because he loses a vote, even hitting another.”

The deputy reported that de la Carrera “would have ordered several deputies and the president of the instance, Daniel Manouchehri, to disqualify himself from the vote, since he would have Dicom.”
However, despite the lie, Manouchehri “exhibited reliable and official documentation from the commission for the Financial Market, the Commercial Bulletin and Equifax, revealing the mendacity of the deputy’s statements.”
Due to the fact that his statements were promptly dismissed, the situation “provoked the confusion of the Carrera deputy, who, by not having the use of the floor, after making the clarification, offended the president of the commission”, was part of what was explained by Ana María Bravo.
