socialism with pluralism
“We believe in the need to build socialism with pluralism,” said Civila during the use of the floor, after being recognized as general secretary to exercise the leadership of the Party for three years.
The plurality of actors, ideas and perspectives is key for the socialist project to move forward, said the re-elected secretary general of Uruguayan socialism.
“Furthermore, we have always sought radicalism, going to the root of the proposal to transform Uruguayan society, because it is not about accommodating a different and unequal society a bit,” Civila said.
