The candidate is summoned to appear before the country’s highest court on Wednesday morning in order to comply with the submission of electoral instruments of legal relevance.
The candidate of the extreme opposition, Edmundo González Urrutía, spoke out through his social networks to justify his not appearing before the authorities of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) this Wednesday.
González Urrutia was due to appear before the country’s highest court to comply with the submission of all electoral instruments of legal relevance that are in the possession of political parties related to the presidential election process of July 28.
The president of the Supreme Court of Justice and president of the Electoral Chamber of the highest court, Caryslia Rodríguez, ratified on Tuesday the summons to the 10 candidates who participated in the presidential election of July 28.
