The Panama Championship has been held continuously since 2004 (with the exception of the 2021 edition, suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and represents a great platform to showcase our country through a sporting event of the highest level. .
Panamanian golfers Omar Tejeira and Lucca González Dormoi will represent our country in this edition. Tejeira, winner of the Apagolf Tour 2021, is the highest ranked Panamanian in the World Amateur Ranking (WAGR) by occupying 79th place. For her part, Lucca González obtained the privilege of playing The Panama Championship by winning the qualifying tournament for national players held last weekend at the Panama Golf Club.
