Faced with the renewed relationship of the Va por México alliance, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador considered that its objective is to stop the transformation process
that his government has undertaken.
Yesterday morning he was already asking about the reconciliation of this coalition of the Institutional Revolutionary (PRI), National Action (PAN) and the Democratic Revolution (PRD) parties – which announced it will go together for the electoral processes of the state of Mexico and Coahuila in 2023 and federal in 2024–, the president pointed out: It’s okay, they are within their rights, (but) it is no longer a note, as you would say, they have been grouped for a long time

He added that it is a conservative, reactionary block and of course they are going to seek, as they have been doing, to stop the transformation process that millions of Mexicans are carrying out

The head of the federal Executive asserted that these are two different and conflicting country projects: They want to return to their privileges, they want the regime of corruption, injustice, and privileges to return.

On the other hand, “we, well, we want the transformation to advance so that the actor, the main protagonist of the history of our time is the people of Mexico, that there be an authentic democracy, a government of the people for the people with the people, that that corruption ends, that the public budget be truly public and be used to meet the needs of the people.
May waste, extravagance, luxuries in government, extremely high salaries, all the privileges that existed, not return. That those at the top pay taxes, that they did not pay, that we continue to fight racism, classism, that the press is not subjected to the service of vested interest groups, that we have freedom of expression, of demonstration, that there be an authentic democracy We are going to continue fighting, but of course, they are grouping up.
The President affirmed that the Va por México alliance is formed by people with a lot of money, who have benefited from the neoliberal or neo-Porfirist policy that was imposed for a long time and were badly used to it. What we tell them is that they go to rob further away or that the robbery is over
