Goes to second debate bill that creates the township of Vacamonte, in Arraiján

The Municipal Affairs Commission of the National Assembly approved this Wednesday, in the first debate, Bill 777, which creates the Vacamonte corregimiento, in the district of Arraiján.

The proposal of the deputy of the ruling Democratic Revolutionary Party, Kayra Harding, had some modifications in its articles, in which they establish that this new corregimiento is made up of the communities of La Constancia, Las Perlas, Ciudad de Vacamonte, Las Huacas, Los Cerezos , Ciudad de Esperanza, Altos del Tecal, La Hacienda and Costa Azul, not including those that will be developed in the future.

Harding stated that he has the approval of the citizen consultation, by the mayor of Arraiján, Rollyns Rodríguez, and the statistics and census report of the Tommy Guardia Institute, where he establishes the coordinates of the new corregimiento.

In addition, the Municipal Affairs Commission was asked to send the report to the technical board of the Ministry of Government, so that a meeting required by law for the approval of this regulation can be held.

He stressed that Vista Alegre deserves to have better support on the issue of decentralization and needs a new community board.
