Since August, the sale, purchase, manufacturing, distribution, circulation, import and export of this type of aircraft has been suspended.
Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 96 units of Remotely Piloted Aircraft, type drones.
The procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in Palo Grande, Caroní municipality (Ciudad Guayana), Bolívar state.
The devices are prepared to be activated with a non-satellite remote control connection, says the report from Detachment 625 of the GNB.
The military component clarifies that this procedure ‘”is based on non-compliance with the provisions established in Official Gazette No. 6,927 dated August 18, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, which establishes an express prohibition on the sale, purchase, manufacturing, distribution, circulation, import and export of this type of aircraft.”
The detained cargo was left to the order of the Public Ministry, an organization that will continue with the pertinent proceedings and investigations.
