The Gloria company restarted the collection of fresh milk in Arequipa, after the plant in Majes was burned downduring the protests against the Congress of the republic and the request for new presidential elections.
Through a statement, the company informs that the collection is carried out gradually, but due to the damage, the milk is not processed at the plant, so it is transferred to the Arequipa plant and other venues.

It should be remembered that the approx. 6 thousand farmers they stopped providing milk for approximately 12 days and due to the lack of resources to process other derivatives, they threw the milk into the canals or onto the ground.
The losses that the Regional Council of Milk estimated were 4 million soles a dayin addition to noting the bankruptcy of farmers who did not have the resources to feed the cattle, considering that between 20 to 30 soles per head was invested per day.
