The ‘Lo Nuestro Awards’ will take place on February 24 in the city of Miami, United States.
At the awards ceremony for “excellence in Latin music chosen by the public”, a special mention will be made to the career of Colombian artist Maluma.

Juan Luis Londoño, his first name, will receive the award as ‘Global Idol’, a recognition of his artistic career and his more than 60 million fans around the world.
“We are proud to recognize Maluma as a “Global Idol” for his brilliant artistic career that has led him to establish himself as a benchmark for Latin music worldwide,” describes the organization through its social networks.
This year there will be a tribute to Vicente Fernández, the ‘Charro de Huentitán’, who died on December 12, 2021. Precisely Maluma will be the one to present this act at the gala.
The interpreter of “The Four Babies”, “Hawaii”, “Felices Los Cuatro” and Borró Cassette”, is nominated this year for 8 different categories, including Collaboration Of The Year – Regional Mexican and Mariachi/Ranchera Song Of The Year – Regional Mexican for ‘100 years’ along with Caliber 50 and Carlos Rivera.
In addition to Maluma, another Colombian, Camilo, will also be part of the gala performing a new single: “The love of our lives.”
