Giulia De Sanctis, president of the Association of Business Executives (APEDE) talks about the future of CSS, the IVM program and decentralization.
He pointed out that the private sector, through CoNEP, has a proposal that has been submitted to improve the CSS. APEDE is preparing another proposal to improve the existing one.
On the subject of decentralization, he said that it was handled for political and personal purposes and it is worse and more serious than could have been imagined. Money was being given away and no one knows where those funds are, which were given mainly to the PRD communal councils, he said.
Regarding the selection of the new comptroller, he said that he must be a person of integrity, independent, who knows about administration and is committed to transparency.
