The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Gilberto Giménez, affirmed that lies are a constant in the foreign policy of the United States Government, perpetrating constant attacks against the people of Venezuela.
He indicated that the first narrative was the extinct Aragua Train, “to attack Venezuelan migrants, they even dusted off a law from the last century to intensify this form of aggression and now they are perpetrating an aggression against the country and against the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.”
In that sense, the parliamentarian advocated for a space for dialogue to be held between President Nicolás Maduro and his American counterpart, Donald Trump. “Common sense and understanding must be deprived,” he added in the program “Café en La Mañana,” broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
He insisted that the people of the United States “are waking up to what is happening and reject all those policies implemented by the Government of that country, because they are not providing solutions to the real problems of that country.”
«Dialogue is necessary in terms of respect and equality, to be able to demonstrate the truth of Venezuela, as President Nicolás Maduro has always insisted, and to understand that our country is a safe supplier of oil to the entire world. Dialogue would be a key to deactivate the tensions that occur between Venezuela and the United States,” he highlighted.
