The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gilsaid Wednesday that the only cause of the violation of human rights is called imperialism, in a world that witnesses “the worst barbaries.”
Gil spoke during the International Forum for a human humanity, balance of the universe, which takes place in the Yellow House of Caracas this July 23 and 24, with the participation of 117 international guests, in the context of the 242 birthday of the Liberator Simón Bolívar.
In his speech, he highlighted the leadership that characterized Bolivar to carry out his exploits, facing the colonial apparatus that he dominated then to achieve freedom, and with a thought that “peace is the product of justice.”
«Today, more than ever, that thought is alive, it is what we are crying today by Bolivarians and all the inhabitants of this world that we want peace. The first thing we want is a peace with social justice, true justice, human justice; That humanity is human so that we can advance in peace, ”he emphasized.
In addition, he referred to a theory developed by Bolívar related to the protection of the rights of citizens and assured that it was clear “in pointing out that the origin of all the violations of rights came from the imposition of imperialism, colonialism. Today that is still the reality, the only cause of the violation of human rights is called imperialism, it is called colonialism, there is no other ». He stressed that the Bolivarian revolution must be anti -colonial, anti -imperialist and socialist.
Netanyahu regime is deeply inhuman
The Foreign Minister also warned that the world faces “the worst barbaries,” being the most serious the horror that is lived in Palestine.
«The regime of (Benjamin) Netanyahu is a deeply inhuman, cruel, genocidal, criminal (…) regime but that is part of the birth of a new world, because Palestine millenary refuses to die, to disappear, and will not disappear. In thousands of years they have been there, they have resisted this and worse killings, but they will come out, ”he said.
Protect the rights of all humanity
Gil approached the inhumanity of those who today see in the migrant an enemy, violating his rights, and recalled the persecution suffered by Venezuelan migrants, even being taken “to a field of concentration and torture in El Salvador.”
«Thanks to President Nicolás Maduro Moros, they were rescued healthy and saved a few days ago, before an international apparatus created to protect human rights, which what he does least is to protect human rights. Here the president has been quite critical because it is not about Venezuela only, it is about the protection of the rights of all humanity and Venezuela is at the forefront, ”he said.
He also said that Bolivar’s legacy today inspires to fight and overcome the new threats that loom humanity, since “only with peace we are going to succeed.”
«To get peace we have to conquer justice, and for this we will only do together as we are today these 40 countries that are in this forum (…) to overcome in the next battles that we will have to free. We are sure that our victory will be peace, well -being; And there will be no empire today, neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow, that he can twist the will of the peoples, ”he said.
