The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, condemned “the cowardly aggression perpetrated by the criminal force of Israel” against the civilian population in Damascus and a few meters from the Venezuelan Embassy and the official residence of the Cuban ambassador in Syria.

In a message published on his Telegram channel, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy detailed that the attack occurred in a densely populated residential area of ​​the capital of Syria and that it resulted in the death of three people, including a journalist, and left nine injured. , in addition to considerable material damage to infrastructure.

“This fearful attack carried out by Zionist crime against the civilian population of Syria, hit just a few meters from diplomatic facilities of countries accredited in Damascus, including the headquarters of the Venezuelan Embassy and the Official Residence of the Cuban Ambassador,” Gil denounced. .
