Gil appreciates Nicaragua's repudiation of the “outrageous bill” of the gringo law

He foreign ministerYván Gil, thanked on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the repudiation expressed by the Government of Nicaragua against the so-called Bolívar Law approved by the United States Congress (USA).

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the firm repudiation expressed by our brothers in struggle in Nicaragua, President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, towards the outrageous bill approved by the House of Representatives of the United States. United,” Gil wrote in his social networks.

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister stated that the bill “is not only an insult to the memory of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, but also dishonors his legacy as the first great anti-imperialist leader.”

Likewise, he cited a thought by the father of the country of Venezuelans, in which he warned since the 19th century of the danger of the United States for the nascent Republics in the south of the continent: “The United States seems destined by Providence to plague America with misery in the name of freedom.”.

“Today, more than ever, we can affirm that he was not wrong,” Gil said.
