Gian Marco reveals he was diagnosed with cancer

Gian Marco Javier Zignago Alcover, better known as Gian Marco, revealed that it was diagnosed with cancer.

“After a week of surgery, thank God I can say that I’m free of that disease that I don’t want to mention,” he wrote on his Instagram account last Saturday.

The next day, he wrote again; This time he was explicit: “My mother survived cancer, she knew how to detect it at the right time. This time it touched me I listened to my body, I got there on time and now I’m safe.”

In recent days it was revealed that the interpreter of Love song was subjected to a emergency surgerydue to a strange illness. Gian Marco did not miss the opportunity and, through his Instagram account, gave a reflective message to his followers about the difficult time he is going through.

The Peruvian musician and producer, three-time winner of the Latin Grammy Awards, recorded the main song of the Copa América Peru in 2004 and received the prize as Latino revelation artist, among other recognitions.
