This Thursday night the preliminary of Miss Universe 2024 was held, where 127 candidates paraded around the “infinite” stage in the Arena auditorium in Mexico City, among them, Geysell García, Miss Universe Nicaragua 2024which stood out in the event where the judges chose the 30 candidates (one by popular vote) who will advance to the first top of the final night.
The 29-year-old Nicaraguan beauty wore three outfits in which she tried to win the vote of the judges, which this year is made up of men and women among whom stand out: the music businessman Emilio Estefan, the Colombian actress Fariana, the businessman and personality of internet Gianluca Vacchi and haute couture designer Michael Cinco.
In his first appearance, Geyssell García wore the national costume (national costumel) in honor of the Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption of León, with a headdress simulating the stained glass windows of said cathedral, as well as a peacock feather plume and a short skirt with a multicolored train.
This is the first time that Nicaragua presents a typical costume made by a foreign designer, since the costume was designed and made by the Mexican Alberto Cuevas. According to beauty experts, Nicaragua’s national costume is among the best 10 in the competition. Nicaragua won best national costume in 2013 made by Nicaraguan designer Bismarck Martínez.

In her second appearance, García showed off a spectacular physical figure during the three-piece swimsuit catwalk in a lilac tone that revealed a toned and worked body. García had a safe but simple catwalk in which he moved around the stage in a way that tried to attract the attention of the jury.
By 11 pm (Nicaragua time) the Nicaraguan beauty queen made her third appearance, this time in a group, to model the evening dresses. García appeared in a beautiful champagne-colored shiny leather dress with iridescent bangs and gold S-shaped details on her waist and chest.
The preliminary gala evening dress that García wore was made by the Venezuelan designer Richard Ramírez Castro, who was in charge of dressing the representative of Nicaragua during the Miss Universe activities. Ramírez has also dressed outstanding candidates in past editions of the same pageant.
Geyssell García will have the task of representing the entire country before the world, tomorrow, Saturday, November 16, at the final gala of the most important beauty pageant in the world that takes place in Mexico and in which her compatriot, the current Miss Universe, Sheynnis Palacios, will crown her new successor.
The event begins with a red carpet at 7 p.m. (Mexico time) and will be broadcast for Latin America by the TVAzteca network, for the United States through Telemundo, and the social network YouTube for the rest of the world.
