The president of the Frente de Todos (FdT) bloc in the Chamber of Deputies, Germán Martínez, warned that the ruling party needs to “guarantee unity in all spaces, government, legislative and others”, to “offer firm solutions to Argentines ” and “have a clear electoral potential in 2023”.

“We need to guarantee unity in all spaces, government, legislative and others. That unity is resolved with the daily strengthening of government policies and with offering firm solutions to Argentines. With the improvement in management, and unity, Alberto Fernández’s leadership will be strengthened and will allow the FdT to have a clear electoral potential in 2023,” the legislator bet.

In statements made during an interview with the newspaper La Capital de Rosario, Martínez pointed out that “nobody with responsibility from our bloc is going to say that a certain internal situation affects the functioning” of Congress, in reference to the incidence of internal disagreements in deputies and senators.

“It is clear that we are going to work together and integrated in all the commissions that are formed. Our idea is to resume the agenda proposed for the extraordinary sessions”

“That is part of speculation, but the reality, as in the case of the General Legislation Commission, is that we are all working together, beyond the positions we take regarding the agreement with the IMF,” he stressed.

Martínez added that “we need to give impetus to the Executive’s agenda, we defend our Government, we are the ruling party and we will seek to keep the resources that allow us to obtain these results.”

“It is clear that we are going to work together and integrated in all the commissions that are formed. Our idea is to resume the agenda proposed for the extraordinary sessions: electromobility, the agro-bio-industrial law, cannabis for medicinal use, buy national and development of suppliers and the extension of benefits for the construction industry, and also for the automotive and auto parts industries, among others, all pointing to a powerful export process and import substitution that give quality work to Argentines,” he added.

consulted on the draft law of the ruling party in the Senate that seeks to establish a fund in dollars with resources escaped abroad by Argentinesthe legislator from Rosario stressed that he “claims” the orientation of that initiative.

“Recapturing money sent abroad and without declaring it is an important decision that we should all try to encourage to be approved. When it reaches the Deputies, we will try to form the greatest possible consensus. The project is going in the right direction,” he remarked.
