Geopolitical Map of Sanctions Presented to the Diplomatic Corps

This Tuesday the official presentation of the Geopolitical Map of Sanctions will take place before the Diplomatic Corps, Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter and Social Organizations, from the Casa Amarilla in Caracas.

The presentation of the Map was in charge of Foreign Minister Yván Gil, who first highlighted the so-called sanctions as a medieval practice, which was installed in the fiefdoms when they expelled their commercial competitors.

“It seems unbelievable that thousands of years later it still persists as a practice of imperialism that has done us so much damage,” said the Foreign Minister.

In his words, Gil briefly recounted the unilateral coercive measures that have been imposed against the country.

The executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, is present at the activity.

The Geopolitical Map of Sanctions is an online information tool to connect 30 countries that suffer Unilateral Coercive Measures and make visible the global effort against the blockade.

Its main objective is to provide relevant and pertinent information through the web platform.
