The Second Investigation Prosecutor of the Cordovan city of Villa María, Juliana Companys, told the local media this morning that Batista was a fugitive and had an international arrest warrant, and that was “arrested by Interpol upon entering the Ezeiza airport, coming from Paris on an Air France flight”.

Batista is syndicated as the second in the structure of the Zoe Organization, chaired by Leonardo Cositorto, who remains a fugitive abroad and has an international arrest warrant.

Federal judge Ariel Lijo ordered ten raids last Thursday in a case for alleged money laundering of the Zoe holding company.
