the general Luis Cortes Villa He passed away this Friday at the age of 82. He was a close collaborator of the dictator Augusto Pinochet and former president of the homonymous foundation. The retired soldier died in a domestic accident, at his home located in Viña del Mar.
According to The timeCortes fell from a height, hitting his head. He was taken to a care center. However, his health condition deteriorated and he passed away.
Cortés served as president of the Pinochet Foundation – which seeks to preserve the dictator’s “legacy” – for 15 years.
