Santo Domingo.- The Senate of the Republic declared the General State Budget Bill of urgency and approved in two consecutive readings for the year 2025amounting to one billion 681,728 million pesos.

The piece was approved by 26 of 27 senators present in the legislative work this Thursday, from now on it will be sent to the Executive Branch for its promulgation.

The regulations submitted by the Executive Branch, via the Chamber of Deputies, were sanctioned after the Bicameral Commission, made up of senators and deputies, carried out an extensive analysis of the initiative.

The General State Budget Law was approved in the Chamber of Deputies and sent to the Senate of the Republic for consideration and approval. After reading the submitted report, the senator and vice president of the Bicameral Commission, Pedro Antonio Tineo, asked the Plenary of the Senate that it be included in the agenda and declared of urgency in two consecutive readings.
