More than 40 people died on Sunday (14) in Gaza, most in Israeli troops in northern Palestinian enclave.
According to a provisional count quoted by the EFE agency, based on lists of the hospitals of Gaza shared by journalists in Palestinian territory, 45 deaths were recorded until 12:30 pm, 29 and died in hospitals in the north of the Gaza Strip.
To EFE, Mohammad Abu Salmia, director of Al Shifa Hospital, in the city of Gaza, said that this morning was entry about 20 injured and eight bodies of bombing victims were received.
To the Al Quds Hospital, which is operated by the Red Crescent, a hospital source told the same Spanish agency that 35 injuries and five bodies arrived.
South of the Gaza Strip, 24 injured and four dead were recorded following an attack on one of Rafah’s northwest food distribution points.
Offensive
For more than a month the Israeli army launches an offensive against the city of Gaza, the capital of Enclave, to occupy it, try to rescue the Israeli hostages that are still in the region and end the Hamas movement, having caused the displacement of one million people living in the city.
Since then, bombings have increased against the capital of Gaza, but also the demolitions and destruction of any kind of infrastructure.
Today, the Israeli army had three buildings evacuated in the city of Gaza.
According to data from Thursday (11) provided by the Gaza Civil Defense rescue teams, at least 53,000 Palestinians lost home or tent where they were sheltered in the city of Gaza in less than a week.
The ongoing war in the Gaza Strip was triggered by an attack led by Hamas on October 7, 2023 south of Israel, which made 1,200 killed, mostly civilians, and 251 hostages.
In retaliation, Israel launched a large -scale offensive that has left more than 64,000 dead, mostly women and children, according to local authorities controlled by Hamas, destroyed almost all the territory infrastructure and caused an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in the region.
