Paraguay Rembi’u is the name of the gastronomic fair that takes place this morning in the Plaza Infante Rivarola in Villa Morra, to benefit the families of Vallemí, affected by the floods.
The Federation of the Center for Residents of the Interior of Paraguay, with the support of the commune of Asunción, offer a variety of food in the well-known and popular Plaza Infante Rivarola, located on Avenida Mariscal López, next to the Villa Morra shopping mall.
Gloria Caballero, president of said group, reported that, a percentage of what is collected will be to help the residents of Vallemí, who, among all the victims, are some of the most affected by the flooding of the river and by the floods generated by the rains.

“Each resident center prepares the traditional food of their community, so that the people of Asunción know what is eaten in each town”Caballero commented.
Among the novelties are: the fish sausage, presented by merchants from Ñeembucú; roast pork rib iron pot of Saint Peter; grilled lamb, hodgepodge, missionary chorizo, locro, lamb stew, among others.
Food dishes have an average cost of 25,000 to 30,000 guaraníes. The sausages from G. 10,000. In addition, they offer empanadas for rupa tereré and medicinal plants. There will also be desserts, chop, caipirinha and soft drinks.
