The liter of gasoline became R$ 0.20 more expensive as of today (18), at Petrobras refineries. As a result, the price of fuel sold to distributors went from R$3.86 to R$4.06 per liter, an increase of 5.18%.
The liter of diesel sold at refineries went from R$4.91 to R$5.61, an increase of R$0.70, or 14.26%.
Gasoline
The final price of gasoline, charged to the consumer, also includes taxes, the mandatory blending of anhydrous ethanol and the margins of distributors and gas stations. According to Petrobras, the company’s share of the final consumer price went from R$2.81 to R$2.96 per liter.
According to the state-owned company, the fuel had not been readjusted since March 11, therefore, for 99 days.
Diesel
As with gasoline, the final price of diesel, charged to the consumer, includes taxes, margins from distributors and gas stations and the mandatory addition of biodiesel.
According to the company, Petrobras’ share of the price charged to consumers will rise from R$4.42 to R$5.05 for each liter sold at the pump. The last adjustment took place on May 10, that is, 39 days ago.
