The Third Court of Preparatory Investigation of Chorrillos The pre-trial detention hearings will begin on November 23 against Cesar Astudillo Salcedo, Jorge Celiz Kuong, Louis Ramos Hume Y Ricardo Moncada Novoa, Four former retired Army General Commanders investigated in the Gasolinazo case.
The Public ministry reported, through a statement, that the Judiciary will give the first session to evaluate the request for preventive detention formulated by the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Corruption Crimes of Officials of South Lima, in charge of the provincial prosecutor Hugo Minaya Paulino.
The four former general commanders are investigated for the alleged crime of criminal organizationaggravated embezzlement and real and personal concealment.
This requirement also extends to Uberto Salazar, orlando fifth, Julius Grosso, Victor Pariona, David Arana, Louis Meneses, Elder Estrada Y Robert Lopez, who would have served as secretaries and administrative staff of the former generalsas well as tap staff involved in illicit activities.
The hearings, which cannot be postponed, will start on Wednesday, November 23 and will run until November 30 in order to define the situation of the 12 investigated, for whom the Prosecutor’s Office has requested 36 months of preventive detention.
