Santo Domingo.– A fire broke out in the Garrido store, located on Duarte Avenue, in the National District.
Since the early hours of this morning, a dense smoke began to come out from the fourth level of the commercial establishmentgenerating alarm among merchants, employees and passers-by who were in the area at the time of the incident.
Several units of the Fire Department, of the National Emergency and Security Assistance System 9-1-1 and agents of the National Police, who are working to extinguish the flames and control the situation.
So far no victims have been reported.
